There are some pieces of sea glass that make me gasp when I find them. This is one of those pieces. It is vibrant, thick, and incredibly worn down. This piece of turquoise sea glass comes from my favorite "seacret" glass beach, where trash was dumped 100-200 years ago. This vintage glass has a unique look - you can tell that it has been tumbling in the ocean for centuries.

I'm sure if this piece of sea glass could talk, it would tell quite a story. This quirky nugget has an unusual tear drop shape (which works perfectly as a pendant). It has one ruffled edge where you can see many different chips it sustained over its many years tumbling. There is also a "new" edge where you are able to look straight through to the center of this incredibly old piece of glass. It is almost like looking back it time. But not to worry - there are no sharp edges or points. To the hand this unique shaped piece feels like velvet. To find a piece like this pure magic, as is the feeling of wearing it around your neck.

This beautiful piece of sea glass is suspended on hand braided medium brown waxed cord. A sliding pink pearl makes this necklace adjustable up to 26 inches. Two miniature cone shells hang delicately down the back - a beautiful and elegant finish to the braided cord.

This is a perfect way to wear a special piece of Maui every day of the year. Dress this necklace up, dress it down, take it to the beach - it is both beachy and sophisticated, elegant and organic.

To you. From me.

Love,

The Sea
