Pau Necklace with Surf Tumbled Hebrew Cone (35 Inch Opera Length)
Unit price/ per
In the Hawaiian language 'Pau' can mean "finished, ended, completed, all done." My goal for this necklace design was to make a piece that was so well "finished" that the ends were hidden - making the necklace appear like it is one continuous loop. By doing away with any type closure, the focus shifts entirely to these beautiful ocean treasures...
This sweet Pau Necklace combines a large surf tumbled Hebrew Cone Shell, one piece of teal sea glass, and one brilliant champagne colored Edison Pearl. This piece is 35 inches long (considered "opera length") and made on hand braided latte colored brown cord. It slips easily over the head and has one dainty fresh water pearl which acts as a stopper. The small pearl can slide along the cord...keep it at the nape of your neck, or slide it off center if you prefer!
A fun, and yet sophisticated, no fuss way to keep of few special ocean treasures close your heart.
