This beautifuly simple piece was created to showcase this perfect "puka" shell. Pieces like these are formed when a cone is broken but its top remains intact and sharp edges and smoothed down by the tumbling surf. Sometimes a hole or "puka" will be worn through the center (thus giving there shell its common name).
This piece is 16 inches long and strung on 6 ply hand twisted rope cord in a dark brown. Easy to use and secure toggle closure is made from a puka and pearl...just slide the pearl up and down to open or close the loop.
Simple and exquisite, like nature intended.
